Bank gets seed from China

Britain's Millennium Seed Bank project reached a milestone yesterday with the conservation of a pink banana from China that gives the facility seeds from 10 percent of the world's wild plant species. The seed bank is one of the largest and most diverse in the world with more than 1.5 billion seeds. Its goal is to help protect the planet's biodiversity in the face of climate change.
