Big fine for selling cigs to pregnant women

Those who are caught selling cigarettes to pregnant women will soon be fined a minimum of 1,000 yuan ($146) in Guangzhou, capital of Guangdong province.

According to the Rules on Cigarette Control in Guangzhou, which is being reviewed by the city's People's Congress, the Guangzhou Patriotic Public Health Campaign Committee will entrust the city's urban management personnel with the task of enforcing the law.
