Special careers set to bloom

By Qian Yanfeng | China Daily | Updated: 2009-10-14 08:01

Making an artificial flower is no easy job for Zhang Jingjin, who was born mentally disabled. It took him seven years to learn the skill but today he proudly makes a living with his own two hands.

Zhang works at the first flower shop in Beijing that is staffed by people with special needs like him. The shop opened last month.
