Making an artificial flower is no easy job for Zhang Jingjin, who was born mentally disabled. It took him seven years to learn the skill but today he proudly makes a living with his own two hands.
Roses, carnations, plum blossoms, and even daffodils are some of the flowers he can make as the 27-year-old turns synthetic raw materials into elegant beauty.
Zhang works at the first flower shop in Beijing that is staffed by people with special needs like him. The shop opened last month.
