Pitching a solution through soccer

Since 2003, homeless charities across the globe have been doing their talking on the pitch.

The Homeless World Cup, an international soccer tournament, has played a major part in raising awareness of the universal struggle facing those living on the streets - and Hong Kong aims to bring it to the mainland in 2012.

A team from the special administrative region has featured in the contest for the past four years, and finished 40th out of 48 teams in this year's host city of Milan, Italy.
