Serbia make soccer history

BELGRADE: Thousands of Serbia fans thronged the streets of central Belgrade on Saturday to celebrate their team's 5-0 rout of Romania that secured a berth at next year's World Cup finals in South Africa.

Serbia coach Radomir Antic, who took over from Miroslav Djukic only two weeks before the qualifiers began in 2008, was elated with his team's success.
