Warming up winter fashion

Local brand Ne Tiger wants to impress the fashion industry with its traditional Chinese designs in modern times and has done so with its 2010 autumn and winter collection.
The collection uses the idea of crossover fur, cashmere and leather to warm up a boring winter. The abstract and geometrical patterns, simple colors, and metallic elements give a dramatic look.
Techniques like applique, perforation, shorn velvet and laser printing emphasize the nature and perfection of fur. Sexy animal prints stand out, with leopard and tiger patterns the most popular.
