President to sign treaty

Poland's president will sign the European Union reform treaty over the weekend, a close aide said yesterday, which would complete the country's ratification process and leave the Czech Republic as the only nation left needed to sign.

President Lech Kaczynski will likely sign the Lisbon Treaty on Sunday evening after returning from a visit to the Vatican.
