Nation's grand celebration gala impressed viewers

I think that nobody would deny that the evening gala put on in central Beijing to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China - announced in that same Tian'anmen Square all those years ago - was an outstanding and wonderful show. Quite apart from the many great performances by Chinese people that night, the fireworks were also fantastic.

The colorful variety of performances, music and dance was a pleasure to watch, and viewers were impressed by the excellent organization of a lively and grand show on such a truly vast scale.
