Tibet snowstorm continues

A snowstorm that has been lashing the southern part of the Tibet autonomous region for three days is expected to last for another day.

The regional meteorological station yesterday issued a new snowstorm alert, saying the storm that started on Monday in Tibet's Ali and Xigaze prefectures is expected to continue today. Some areas will see snowfall of 25 mm in 24 hours, meteorologists said.
