Pictures on the Wall

An exhibition of more than 60 paintings by 60 Chinese artists will be displayed along the Simatai Great Wall until Oct 8.

As an event celebrating the 60th anniversary of New China's founding, the exhibition shows ink and oil paintings by such famous painters as Cui Zifan, Sun Qifeng, Zhang Daoyi and Han Meilin.

Most of the artists are professors from the China Academy of Art, the China Central Academy of Fine Arts, and the Academy of Arts and Design of Tsinghua University.
