Relics all around

A total of 130 ancient tombs and more than 200 historical relics have been discovered during subway construction in Xi'an, capital of Shaanxi province. From south to north, Xi'an's subway route passes 57 historical sites. The most exciting discovery is a tomb in the Xihan Dynasty (206 BC to AD 25), Wang Zili, a researcher with Xi'an Cultural Relics Protection Center, said.
