Raising their voices

Two-time Grammy Award-winning jazz singer and songwriter Dee Dee Bridgewater will perform her first Shanghai concert during the Sixth JZ Music Festival. Another part of the festival features two days of live musical performances in the Century Park in Pudong on Oct 17 and 18. It will feature nearly 20 bands and singers, about half of whom are from China, including China's "Godfather of Rock" Cui Jian, and acclaimed singers and songwriters Zheng Jun, Zhang Chu and Desert Chang from Taiwan.
