'Batman' wants to play a bigger role

"Batman" Shane Battier cleared up rumors about his possible transfer from the Houston Rockets by revealing he is preparing for a bigger role with the team in the coming season.

"I'm ready to play a larger role for Rockets. I know I have to score more and be stronger on the court," Battier said during a visit to CCTV.com in Beijing on Thursday, while endorsing Battier 4th generation shoes by China Peak Group.

"Of course, defense is always my first goal, but I will try my best to balance them."
