To celebrate its 50th anniversary, the National Ballet of China will stage a series of performances. Created by choreographer John Cranko in 1965, the storyline of Onegin, which will be staged this weekend, is based on Pushkin's novel Eugene Onegin. It narrates the emotional experience of Onegin, a self-centered and empty man who misses true love because of his arrogance. Listings: Beijing
