ETA suspects arrested

French police have arrested three suspected members of Basque separatist guerrilla group ETA in the skiing resort of Le Corbier after a wave of bombings in Spain which killed two people. The three detained in the southern France town were among the Spanish government's most-wanted criminals. The website of newspaper El Pais said one suspect, Alberto Machain Beraza, was suspected in two attacks in July, one which injured 46 people at a Civil Guards barracks in northern Spain and another that killed two Spanish Civil Guards on the island of Mallorca.
