Sweet & Sour

SWEET

I absolutely love that China seems to rejoice in dispensing as much beer as they can for as cheap as possible. For the price of a six-pack back home I can buy 28 bottles of the local brew. And these ain't no pansy-sized Heinekens, but rather big 620+ ml monster bottles.

SOUR

Taxis - their musty smell in winter and the surly drivers all year long - tops the list of complaints in Beijing, but in Shanghai, it's the fight just to get a cab that has expats seeing red. Even when you find a taxi your seat gets stolen in a flash. I think my friend basically said it right, "The person that gets the taxi is the person with the first ass on the seat."
