See if you're a lucky duck

You might have been to Quanjude already and tried their Peking roast duck. You might have also been given a souvenir card, marking the number of ducks Quanjude has sold. If so, look out: you could be a winner in the lucky draw. To mark its 145-year anniversary, Quanjude has organized lucky draws at its branches for all duck souvenir card holders. The number of prizewinners will be announced on the company's website. Prizes are from two free duck coupons to Quanjude member cards with 500-5,000 yuan ($73-730). Lucky winners can get their prizes at the Quanjude branch where they got the cards, from September to December this year.

As part of the celebration, Quanjude's Qianmen branch has developed a shadow play drama Story of Quanjude, to put the history of the old restaurant onto the stage. The company held a ceremony to clean Quanjude's ancient name plate, and issued the 148 millionth duck souvenir card to Frenchman Athanase Fakorellis, a customer and business partner.
