GM loses post

Kang Rixin, the general manager of China National Nuclear Corporation (CNNC), has been suspended from his post after being investigated for "grave violations of discipline", the Organization Department of the CPC Central Committee confirmed yesterday.

Sun Qin, the vice-president of CNNC, will take over Kang's job. Kang is allegedly involved in a corruption case of 1.8 billion yuan ($260 million) and is being held in police custody in Beijing.
