Microsoft names Wang GM

Microsoft has appointed Wang Yongdong as general manager of its Internet search technology center in Asia, to promote its search engine Bing worldwide and develop more search functions focusing on Asian users. Wang has over 10 years of working experience in management and innovation and development of Internet search. Prior to this, Wang was with Inktomi and Yahoo.
