PLA drill kicks off
The People's Liberation Army kicks off the largest military drill this year today with more than 40,000 troops taking part over a two-month period.
The PLA's General Staff Department, which is commanding the exercise, ordered each military area to send their elite forces to join the unprecedented drill, Xinhua News Agency reported yesterday.
