Official: Direct talks possible

The Obama administration said yesterday it is willing to hold direct talks with the DPRK over its nuclear weapons if it first resumes international negotiations. White House national security advisor Jim Jones said. He said the US was ready to resume the kind of direct talks held late in the Bush administration.
