Zang Su (藏素风格餐厅) has come up with a range of creative Chinese dishes, an increasingly popular food trend in recent years. A lot of effort is put into the presentation of the dishes, but without compromising the taste.
For starters, try an assortment of mashed potato, mashed purple sweet potato, and mashed taro (梅花三弄), served with sweet and sour sauce. The assorted vegetables (荷塘小炒) present a colorful mix of white lotus root slices, black fungus, white fungus, and lotus seeds, served on a fresh green leaf.
For meat dishes, try the brown-braised pork chop with abalone in rice wine sauce (鲍鱼酒酿红烧肉), priced at 388 yuan. The spicy fried hairtail flavored with Chinese pepper and garlic (蒜子花椒炒鲜带鱼), at 58 yuan, is also a good choice.
