End summer on high note

InMusic Festival, an on-going three-day Woodstock-type musical feast ending tomorrow will treat fans to 60 top bands from home and abroad, in addition to introducing them to the Zhangbei grassland, a pasture resort two hours' drive (230 km) from Beijing. Don't forget to bring your tent!

Launched by leading music magazine InMusic, artists covering rock, pop, folk, electronic, metal and hip-hop will be there. Shining the spotlight are pop-rock singer Xu Wei, Taiwan's indie-pop songstress Zhang Xuan and British trip-hop musician Tricky. Other well-known bands include New Pants, Brain Failure and Miserable Faith.

It is rumored that rock pioneer Cui Jian and the latest Super Girl contestants will be present. More bands and singers are folk singers Wan Xiaoli, Ma Tiao, as well as rock bands Ziyo, 24 Hours, Sound Fragment, The Reason, and DJs.
