'Good behavior' campaigns

On Feb 11, 2007, Beijing began its first voluntary "queuing day" to gradually rid the capital of queue jumpers. The 11th day of every month was designated queuing day.

From February to August last year, Beijing issued 2.8 million pamphlets about etiquette to households and offered training to public servants and 870,000 service sector workers.

On June 19 last year, Chinese Menu in English was published to standardize menu translation.
