Smuggler gets pregnancy shock

A Thai woman who smuggled over 40 small packets of cocaine in her body was astonished to discover during her examination that she was pregnant, German authorities said yesterday.

Customs officials at Frankfurt airport suspected the 30-year-old of drug smuggling and subjected her to an X-ray scan where the packages of cocaine were clearly visible in her gastrointestinal tract.
