Tippers rewarded

Police in Central China's Hunan province yesterday announced a reward of 50,000 yuan ($7,320) for tips about a suspect who allegedly killed six people Sunday, including an eight-year-old boy and five women in a beauty parlor in the provincial capital of Changsha.

Police said the suspect had been identified as Zhang Chengyu, a 39-year-old man from Sangzhi county in the northwestern part of Hunan.
