US: Russia will back sanctions

MOSCOW: Russia has renewed its support for UN sanctions designed to halt efforts by the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) to expand its nuclear arsenal, the US envoy for implementing the sanctions said on Monday. China made a similar pledge at the United Nations last Thursday.
