5 terrorist attacks foiled in Xinjiang

Police and state security agencies have prevented five terrorist attacks on civilians in Urumqi, Kashgar, Aksu and Ili in Xinjiang, which would have "damaged social stability and ethnic unity", anti-terrorism sources said yesterday.
