Sense of security

When we talk about sense of security, China's middle-income earners are always said to have the least of it.

True, white-collar workers who make up the bulk of the middle group do have a lot of pressure when they are constantly concerned with better housing, better cars and better schools for their children. They are not always in very sound health and are usually working overtime. Without any clear outlook on the future, they are constantly in anxiety.

There is nothing wrong with this. But we should never forget that we are talking about this social group from their own standpoint.
