Directed by Lei Guohua, the grand musical Butterflies is adapted from the famous story of Butterfly Lovers. Lei has made significant changes to the storyline, leaving just the tragic but romantic end of the love story. After a twisting plot the two leading roles - Liang Shanbo and Zhu Yingtai - transform into butterflies as part of their eternal love.
