Blanca Vlasic of Croatia competes in the women's high jump event at the Herculis athletics meeting at Louis II stadium in Monaco on Tuesday. Vlasic won with 2.03m. Vlasic, the Olympic silver medalist in Beijing, narrowly beat Germany's Ariane Friedrich. Both passed 2.03m, but Vlasic made the jump at the second attempt, while Friedrich succeeded on her third go. Both then failed to pass 2.05m.
