Industrial profits dip
Industrial profits across a wide sample of provinces in China declined 21.2 percent in the first half from a year earlier, a slower pace of decline than in the previous month, the National Bureau of Statistics said yesterday. Profits in 22 provinces dropped 24.6 percent in the first five months of the year.
