BUDAPEST: Teenage debutant Jaime Alguersuari said he was happy with his performance in Saturday's qualifying session for Sunday's Hungarian Grand Prix, despite ending up last on the grid.

Spaniard Alguersuari, 19, explained that he was pleased to have made no mistakes, but disappointed that his Toro Rosso car suffered a throttle system problem that brought him to a premature halt.

His performance made him the youngest driver in Formula One history to qualify for a Grand Prix race.
