Opera version of classic Pushkin tale

Russian poet Aleksandr Pushkin's The Tale of Fisherman and the Fish has been adapted into a Beijing opera and is now being staged as part of the 2009 Children's Drama Summer Camp that will run till Aug 15. The festival will also feature two other plays, a musical and a magic show, besides a black light theater presentation.

The simple and lovely tunes and lyrics in The Tale of Fisherman and the Fish are sure to delight children. All the characters don Beijing opera costumes and masks.
