Tom Watson: See you in St Andrews

TURNBERRY, Scotland: Tom Watson signed off from an unforgettable week at Turnberry with a promise to try and do it all again next year at St Andrews in what will be - barring a victory - his farewell to the British Open.

After an extraordinary performance here that saw him come within one eight-foot putt of becoming the oldest major winner in history, a Watson triumph at the home of golf at the age of 60 cannot be totally ruled out.

But he recognizes that the Old Course, where he has never won, might not be the best suited to his game.
