Golf Special: Going once, going twice: HSBC Champions ticket prices reduced

Get on par with ticket sales to this year's World Golf Championships (WGC)-HSBC Champions tournament in Shanghai. Sponsored by HSBC, this is the first year the event has been elevated to a WGC event.

To commemorate the upgrading of the event, the organizers have unveiled a raft of discount tickets aimed at opening up the four-day competition to a wider audience. The first 800 applicants for family passes will enjoy a 50 percent discount on the standard price.

To encourage golf as a family sport, each family pass admits two adults and juniors under 18 years old. Additionally, students with full-time student ID can purchase student passes at a special 100 yuan rate for a single entry on Nov 4, 5, or 6. Students who attend the tournament on any weekday and wish to visit again on the weekend can register at the ticket booth and purchase a voucher for weekend entry at the same 100 yuan rate.
