I ink, therefore I am

Contemporary artists are taking water-ink paintings, a traditional Chinese art form that dates back thousands of years, to a whole new level at Mingyuan Art Center.

Curated by Shanghai-based artist Yang Zhengxin, the show features artworks from 58 Chinese artists aged 20 to 80-something.

"They represent three generations of water-ink artists. Some are established artists in this field, and others are successful oil painters. Talented young artists make up the third part of the show."
