Denuclearization of the Korean peninsula has never been so difficult as it is today.

The UN Security Council recently announced sanctions against five organizations and five individuals in the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) for the involvement in ballistic missile activities; the DPRK also announced its withdrawal from the Six-Party Talks, which aims to find a peaceful solution to the peninsula's nuclear issue.

We are deeply sorry for the worsening of the situation and are worried about the future development of the stalemate, which will obviously continue and intensify tension in the region.
