Kungfu show

Chun Yi, the Legend of Kungfu, is to be staged at the London Coliseum, on July 29. David Yip, a well-known English actor of Chinese descent, will take the role of the Old Master. Yip was in Beijing last week for rehearsals and he is excited to work with the Chinese cast and hopes to learn about Chinese culture and philosophy. Director Ray Roderick, who was also in Beijing, says the dazzling kungfu spectacle combines story-telling, dancing, and singing with state-of-art stage effects.
