Porn crackdown

In a recent campaign to crack down on online pornography from April to early July, Shanghai's municipal public security bureau deleted nearly 25,300 erotic messages and closed 10 websites offering pornographic materials. About 23 online service providers have been warned to be more careful with their content and security systems. As well, 74 suspects were arrested and 900 CDs with pornographic content were confiscated.
