Taipei flights take off

Direct flights started yesterday between Wuhan, capital of Hubei province, and Taiwan. A Boeing 737 from China Southern Airlines took off with 125 passengers yesterday afternoon, and arrived in Taipei Taoyuan airport two and a half hours later. China Southern Airline officials said tickets sold well on this route, and regular direct flights between Wuhan and Taiwan will begin on Sept 4.
