Abracadabra, magicians gather
The International Federation of Magic Societies (FISM) will open its biggest event, the World Championships of Magic Beijing 2009, from July 21 to Aug 8. Beijing audiences will enjoy world-class magic shows, forums, studios and exhibitions.
The FISM World Championships will start with a Chinese magicians' show on July 21 to 23, followed by a five-day forum. Visitors will see exhibitions showcasing world-famous magician's equipment, competitions and some simple secret-revealing courses. Fans will also have a chance to learn a few tricks.
