Tiger cubs thriving
The Wangcheng Zoo in Luoyang in central China's Henan province announced yesterday that the zoo has successfully bred four South China Tiger cubs, bringing its total number of the tigers to nine.
The four cubs - three born on April 18 and one on May 1 - have already passed the critical period, according to Li Maoping, president of the zoo.
