Police launch tear gas as faulty cab signals SOS

Cops sprayed three occupants of a cab in Wuhan, Hubei province, with tear gas after a faulty LED screen on the taxi's rear signaled an SOS last Monday.

Pedestrians and several other drivers called the police when they saw a hazard signal flashing on the taxi's screen, located below the rear window. It read: "Robbed! Need police help."
