Officials held to higher degree of accountability

The Communist Party of China (CPC) released a regulation on official accountability yesterday, aimed at curbing corruption and improving government competence.
Under the new rules, officials responsible for the following kinds of misconduct should be removed from their posts:
Making a bad decision that leads to great losses or has a serious negative impact.
