Five young musicians, principals of the Brandenburg Symphony of Germany, have put together an unusual band - Jacaranda Ensemble - to experiment with new sounds. The instrumentation of this ensemble includes Alpenhorn, didgeridoo, saxophone and percussion. The performance is woven through a mixture of composed and improvised music to form a sonic tapestry.
