Suspected hit-and-run driver too clever for cops
Police officials searching for a car involved in a hit-and-run in Haikou, Hainan province, were red-faced when they were denied permission to enter a housing estate where the suspected vehicle was parked.
The car's number plate was covered with a black plastic bag, with a thick scratch on its bumper.
