Me and Russia

A Russian Knowledge competition has been launched as part of the "Year of Russian Language" in China. Sponsored by the People's Daily and RIA Novosti and presented by people.com.cn and rusnews.cn, the competition is divided into three groups: college freshmen and sophomores, junior and senior college students, and graduates and non-students.

Until Sept 2, contestants can go on the two websites to answer questions related to Russian history, society, literature and arts. They need to submit an essay on the subject of "Me and Russia".
