Puppy trapped one week inside chimney rescued

A 40-day-old puppy is now known as Gou Jianqiang or "Strong Dog" after it survived a week inside a chimney without food or water.

The collie puppy entered the chimney in a six-story residential building in Beijing to find food. A woman heard barks coming from behind a wall in her kitchen one night but didn't want to let the owner break her wall.
