Dispute leads to brawl

Fourteen people were injured in a brawl between construction workers and villagers following a land dispute in Guizhou province, local authorities said yesterday.

More than 200 people were involved in the clash that erupted at about 5 pm Sunday after villagers demanded a land lease from a company at a highway construction site in Guiding county, said the county government.
